Nassau Street Bed and Breakfast is a newer home with welcoming, traditional
ambience and furnishings in quiet, restful surroundings. During the
winter of 2003, it has been refreshed with new colours in the public
areas and hallways.
The yellow, queen-sized
suite with full private bathroom (ensuite) is gracious and large with
lots of cupboard and drawer space. The red, queen-sized room has lots
of cupboard space and drawers and the adjoining full bathroom is private
and has a shower. Newspapers and magazines are available. Service amenities
and hair driers are supplied. The comfortable living room is at your
disposal during your stay as is the back deck. 302 Nassau is an air
conditioned facility, non-smoking inside, and is an adult-oriented bed
and breakfast home.
Breakfast options
range from lighter fare for people on the go, to more traditional items
for those who wish to linger. (Most people linger.) Breakfast is served
at 8:30 in the dining room, or in good weather, on the spacious deck
under the market umbrellas overlooking lawns and flowerbeds, with the
calming sound of water flowing in the pond and the fountain.
302 Nassau is located
within walking distance (seven blocks) of the main shopping district
and the three theatres where the Shaw Festival performances are presented.
