Welcome to our 1919 American Tudor Revival home! Constructed of red Grimsby sandstone, reclaimed from the nearby piers of the Grand Trunk Railway, we're located 3 min. acoss the valley from Jordan.
Enjoy our tangled Carolinian habitat and access the Twenty Mile Creek ANSI (Area of Natural Scientific Interest) with surrounding call of marsh and song birds. Bike or hike along our private lane beside peach & pear orchards to the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail which leads to the Niagara Escarpment. Wander and putter (weed!) in our vegetable, perennial, shrub/herb gardens and relax on the stone terrace while the moon sails by, or starwatch by a campfire.
Carla is the past president of local field naturalist club and owns Niagara Nature Tours (rated as the third best eco-tourism company in Canada by the Canadian Tourism Commission). Niagara Nature tours offers group or privately escorted tours with naturalists, geologists and horticulturists covering Niagara's wine region, fabulous gardens, History, Nature and Agricultural tours.
Spring, Summer, Fall House Concerts on the stone terrace or around the campfire. Meet well loved musicians, poets & storytellers in this woodland setting.
Our home is a non-smoking residence. You have a choice of private or shared baths. We have a golden retriever, so call to see if you can bring your dog.
We have three rooms available with either a twin, queen or king size bed. Our room rates range from $95 ~ $125 / night.
