Cairngorm
is a charming Greek Revival home in an ideal location on the scenic
River Road / Niagara Parkway overlooking the Niagara River and Gorge,
four blocks up from the Rainbow Bridge. It is within a leisurely 7
minute walking distance to Niagara Falls, the Clifton Hill area, Casino
Niagara and most of the tourist attractions and restaurants.
Ambiance
is in abundance with marble and oak floors throughout and an impressive
central oak staircase in the large main hall.
All bedrooms are
tastefully furnished. All have cable TV and some feature antiques. Each
room has a private ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The three front
rooms have their own private balcony - a perfect place to enjoy the
deluxe Continental breakfast or to savour an evening glass of wine after
a winery tour.
One
three room family / honeymoom suite has a sitting room with a double
bed size sofa-bed and a large room with a King bed, dining area where
breakfast is served, a corner fireplace, fridge and a bathroom with
corner jacuzzi and an upright shower.
The
bus and railway stations and two International Bridges to USA are nearby.
We can arrange transportation if necessary. The Toronto and Buffalo
airports are within an hour's drive and several local transportation
companies provide door to door service. A pleasant 20 minute drive along
the beautiful Niagara Parkway takes you past the Niagara Parks Horticultural
School, Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to the historical
village of Queenston and on to the pretty theatre town of Niagara on
the Lake.
The
25 mile bicycle path from Fort Erie to Niagara on the Lake conveniently
passes outside our front door. Golf courses, fishing and most sports
or activities are in the area. A deluxe Continental breakfast is served
to all rooms.
The house is smoke
and pet free for everyone's comfort. All major cards are accepted. Reservations
are suggested. Private parking is at the rear of the house.
