to Ellis House Bed & Breakfast, located in the heart of Niagara
Falls, Ontario, Canada in a very quiet B&B district. When you stay,
you'll enjoy our relaxed atmosphere along the Niagara Parkway (River
Road) and our central location offers easy access to all of Niagara's
tourist attractions and venues.
Built in 1847, Ellis
House has been completely restored and opened in July 2001 to offer
the finest in accommodations to those requiring more than a "hotel/motel"
room. Start your mornings with hot "Gourmet" breakfasts, full
side continentals in the splendor of a Victorian Dining room. After
breakfast, continue enjoying one of the world's finest wonders - Niagara
Falls.
Also close by are
the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, the Spanish AreoCar,
Niagara's Butterfly Conservatory, Clifton Hill, Whirlpool JetBoat Rides,
or romantic shows at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
You
have your choice of five thematically-styled rooms at Ellis House. All
of our suites feature a queen bed, private ensuite, colour cable TV
and self-controlled air conditioning. Most suites also feature Jacuzzi
bathtubs and gas fireplaces. Our "Ansel Adams" suite is pictured
here.
We
offer our guests plenty of free, onsite parking, shaded and securely
fenced. Once you're here, leave your car behind and take the "People
Mover" to all the major attractions in Niagara Falls. This air
conditioned transportation system allows you to enjoy the warm weather
and get you where you need to go, without having to find parking or
getting lost. Once you're done seeing the many major attractions along
the People Mover route, come back and relax in the comfort of Ellis
House. A special addition to your evening can be a memorable leisurely
walk along the Niagara Parkway - a great place for lovers to enjoy special
moments.
For longer stays
you can also choose our Executive European apartment (see below). With
its own private entrance, this non-smoking, fully-furnished, 1 bedroom
apartment is ideal for extended or short-term stays in Niagara. It has
a full living room, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen as well as
a security system and a private driveway. Housekeeping service for this
apartment can also be arranged.
Ellis
House is adult-oriented, although your children are welcome. Please
inquire in advance! We are unable to accommodate pets at this time.
