Eastwood
Lodge is a grand, prominent property that sits on a ridge overlooking
the Niagara Gorge. This award-winning facility began as a Bed and Breakfast
in 1961 and is the longest-running establishment of its kind in the
Niagara Region. Eastwood Lodge is frequently photographed for use in
media to promote the beauty of the glorious residential area close to
the majestic Niagara Falls and major attractions.
There is nothing
like sitting on one of the balconies enjoying the view and the comforting
breeze provided by the rapidly moving water of the mighty Niagara River.
The natural rock gardens of Eastwood Lodge win the accolades of passers-by
. The massive and verdant grounds provide the perfect setting for relaxation
with a book or one of Niagara’s exceptional wines. Eastwood Lodge
has been a three-time recipient of the Trillium Award for its landscaping
and gardens.
Inside,
all spacious, beautifully appointed guest rooms have balconies with
a view of the Niagara Gorge, full ensuite (in the room) bath, king bed,
air conditioning, cable tv, small refrigerator, telephone, private entrances
and there is a large on-site parking lot directly behind the building.
There is a wide variety of décor and each room has a different
theme and palette of colors. Some rooms have fireplaces. The Rooftop
Studio Suite, which comprises the entire third floor of the main house
and is located at the highest point on the property, is an exclusive,
tony suite with an incomparable view.
Breakfast
is a wonderful time of day and is enjoyed in the dining room which provides
a view of the Niagara Gorge. A full breakfast is served and includes
lots of homemade ingredients made especially for our guests. Over morning
coffee made from a steam press machine, tips about what to see and do
in the area make for informative and delightful conversation.
The owners of Eastwood
Lodge have been residents of the Niagara Region all of their lives and
have extensive local knowledge that they are happy to share. Service
can be provided in English, Spanish or German.
At Eastwood Lodge,
all smoking in indoor areas is strictly prohibited. We are sorry but
no pets are allowed. Eastwood Lodge is not suitable for parties with
children.
After 42 years,
Eastwood Lodge has demonstrated its commitment to providing high levels
