Wellspring Niagara
Wellspring Niagara first opened its doors in June 2001 with a mission to provide free social, emotional, psychological, informational and spiritual support to individuals living with cancer, their families and close supporters. Today the centre offers a wide range of programs to men, women and children living through the Niagara region.
As the only cancer support centre in the Niagara Region, Wellspring Niagara offers over 40 various types of programs and services ranging from one-on-one peer support, support groups, coping skills, expressive arts, financial programs, health restoring programs and educational workshops just to name a few. We are also the official Niagara host of the Look Good Feel Better™ program and the host site for the Brain Tumour Support Group provided by a Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. For more program information, please visit www.wellspringniagara.ca
Wellspring Niagara fulfills the dream of Aldo Mantini, who lost his life to cancer at age 31. Aldo had inspired many in his community to work together to bring the type of supportive care offered by Wellspring to Niagara.
As a not-for-profit charitable organization, Wellspring Niagara receives no government or funding from any other cancer related organizations and relies solely on the financial support of the community it serves.
